Finally reissued! Habibi Funk presents Sharhabil Ahmed, the king of Sudanese jazz (he won this title in a competition in the early 1970s). In terms of sound, it is very different from what is considered jazz outside Sudan. It is a unique blend of rock'n'roll, funk, surf, traditional Sudanese music and influences from the Congo. Original recordings by Sharhabil are often hard to find, so it is all the more pleasing that they are now still available. Be sure to check it out!
