Repressed! Habibi Funk's first sampler is an introduction to an eclectic mix of music from the Arab world from the late 1960s to the early 1980s. Coladera from Algeria meets Moroccan funk, disco from Egypt, jazz from Sudan and Lebanese AOR sounds. 16 largely forgotten tracks, 5 of them previously completely unreleased.
