Marcos Valle became an international sensation overnight, fled a military dictatorship, evaded conscription for the Vietnam War, had his music sung by Homer Simpson, made an enemy of Marlon Brando and became an unsuspecting fitness guru for several generations. But to really understand the great Brazilian composer, arranger, singer and multi-instrumentalist, you have to listen to his music. From the release of his first album in 1962 to the present day, Marcos Valle has released twenty-two studio albums in which he interprets bossa nova, classic samba, iconic disco pop, psychedelic rock, dance and orchestral music of the nineties. With his twenty-third studio album Túnel Acustico, Valle wanted to bring all of this together. And he has done just that. Stunningly beautiful!
