Black Sabbath's "Changes" has never been heard like this before. Instead of recording with just the Menahan Street Band, the house band of the Dunham Records label, as usual, Bradley and Brenneck brought several musician combos into the studio this time. These include the Budos Band, the Dap-Kings and The Extraordinaires. Meanwhile, Saun & Starr, Sha La Das and the Gospel Queens can be heard as backing singers on "Changes". With "Changes", Charles Bradley confirms for the third time that his nickname "The Screaming Eagle of Soul" and the comparisons with the legends of his genre are by no means far-fetched. RIP Charles! We miss you!
