Charlie Bereal - 11:11:11 (LP)

When it comes to musical performances, Charlie Bereal has seen it all. Over the course of his 20+ year career, he has collaborated with and written for some of the biggest hip-hop and R&B artists of our time (JAY-Z, Aaliyah, Snoop Dogg and Missy Elliot to name a few). Now he's shifting gears and focusing on his career as a solo artist. Originally released in 2019, the album "11-11-11" was recorded over the course of a few casual evenings in Los Angeles. Charlie invited his friends Jairus Mosey and Raphael Saadiq to join him in the studio and the trio started jamming. "We recorded just for fun - at first it wasn't for a specific project. Then I listened to the recordings and decided to make individual songs from the best parts." Think Sly and the Family Stone or Funkadelic. Absolutely cool album for the summer!
