The new Sorcerers LP is multi-layered, both sonically and thanks to the interwoven influences: based on the Ethiopian sound, there are allusions to the chanbara soundtracks of Fumio Hayasaka, the fuzzy vibes sound of Gary Burton and Moondog's banging wood blocks. Tight beats, exotic melodies, horns, references from the inner and outer worlds of jazz, library and ethio. All mixed with the analog ATA sound that delights DJs and audiophiles alike.
