Wonderful funk-soul album, produced by Jerry Butler, Keg Johnson and Michael Viner, written by Leon Sylvers III. The Sylvers were a family band from Los Angeles who were very successful in the 70s and early 80s. With chart hits - which at the time were already well into the pop-disco area - such as “Fools Paradise”, “Boogie Fever”, “Hot Line” and “High School Dance”. No less than 9 of the family's 10 brothers and sisters made up the group, which is often referred to as the southern version of the Jackson 5. Sampled by J Dilla, Jazzanova, Ghostface Killah, Snoop Dog and many others. An absolute classic!
